ANZULA Luxury Yarns is coming for a trunk show!
After our move to our new location last year, we finally had the space for fun events like trunk shows, and the Anzula team visited us in April. This year, we get to see them just before high-yarn season, Thursday, August 20th, 4-7pm!
Anzula is known for their high-quality, affordable luxury bases and gorgeous hand-dyed colorways. In the past, we’ve carried Squishy (superwash merino, cashmere, nylon), the sparkly Nebula (superwash merino, nylon), and For Better or Worsted (superwash merino, cashmere, nylon). They’ve added new bases to their line since they were here last, I can’t wait to touch them! AND Sabrina told me they have a whole rack of sweater samples to pet.
It can be hard to choose a pattern for such beautiful yarns. I’m always tempted to “save” them for something extra special. So, when I shop a trunk show like this I try to pick out a few patterns ahead of time! Last year’s spring and summer KAL choices, Featherweight and Hitofude, as well as this year’s Window to My Soul, would be wonderful for Anzula’s popular fingering weight yarns.
There are a number of stripey scarves and shawls on my list, including Pendulum and Dromos, the beautiful Artesian shawl, cozy fingerless mitts, like these Ribbed Hand Warmers from Purl Soho, or and even a beautiful cardigan, Sophie by Wood House Knits. Pick out your favorite Ravelry Download and there’s a gorgeous Anzula yarn to match!
