Fall is our season, isn’t it? Slightly cooler weather and impending winter inspires us to pick up some wool and get moving on projects. We’ve been in the process of stocking up on all our great basics (and the special stuff is on its way!). Here’s an overview of what we’ve received:
Christmas Stocking Kits
Christmas Classics – These kits feature classic designs and classic wool yarn: Candide. Pattern instructions are included, along with a chart for personalizing it with a name.
Berroco Brio – this yarn is coming in and going out at such a fast pace, it’s hard to keep up! It stripes, has a bit of sparkle, and enough yarn on each ball for a complete one-skein project.
Plymouth Baby Alpaca Magna – a super-bulky 100% alpaca yarn for the softest, fastest project imaginable. The chain knit construction of this yarn ensures that it is light and fluffy and won’t shed all over you. PERFECT!
Cascade Magnum – small reload on a big yarn!
Heaven – bulky for baby! This machine-wash, fuzzy yarn was momentarily discontinued by Plymouth. We all missed it so much, they decided to make it again! Make this simple free baby blanket pattern in just 5 balls.
Handspun Cashmere – This is the most perfect cashmere yarn I’ve ever knit. We have been petting this finished cowl for a few weeks now and it shows NO sign of wear whatsoever! In addition to being an amazing yarn, sales support a cottage industry of women heads of household in Afghanistan.
Classic Elite Fresco – it’s no secret, how much I love this yarn. 10% Angora makes this yarn soft, light, warm and gives it a slight halo.
Frog Tree Alpaca Sport – Frog Tree Yarns is a not-for-profit company, promoting educational and environmental projects, charitable organizations and volunteer groups. In addition to just being awesome, Frog Tree makes wonderful yarn!
ON THE WAY!
Yarn from Brown Sheep, Trendsetter, Pagewood Farm, and more!
