Every year people ask me, “So, what’s the thing this year?” and I have too many things to tell them!  Usually, there’s a huge mix of projects to suggest.  This year however, there Button-Hatis a CLEAR winner.

The super bulky button hat!

The pattern is free from Plymouth Yarn and uses one ball of Encore Mega, Ushya, or a half a hank of Magnum (this means you can get two hats from one hank).  The button featured on this hat is a hand-turned cherry burl button made by Ron Pessolano in western MA!
