As if on cue, the foliage in my front yard is changing! Let me be the first to welcome you to the first day of fall knitting . . . bust out those cowls, shawls, and sweaters, wrap up those pesky UFOs, and run straight for your lys!

Pantone has put together a lovely palette of “hot” colors for fall, all of which come in yarn form from our favorite companies (of course!):
Now, you won’t catch my “English Rose” complexion running around town with Bright Chartreuse or Tangerine Tango (darn my sister and her olive skin!), but I’m pleased to say I already have a good bit of Olympian Blue, French Roast, and Pink Flambé. . . now, to add a little Rhapsody to my wardrobe! I’m thinking of a shawlette and a lightweight sweater in fingering yarn. . . or maybe I’ll design something new! What are you planning to knit for fall?
